This software helps manage a digital signage system.
Digital signage is a form of electronic display that shows television programming, menus, information, advertising and other messages. This signage manager can handle multimedia content of images, video, text and other elements. It can create a play list of multimedia files containing these elements. PowerPoint presentations and video files too can be played. You can set up a calendar assigning the play of individual sign material that may occupy different areas of the display screen. The iPoint software will copy the files locally and will start playback at the correct time. The scheduler control included will let you monitor your system with live thumbnails. The signage display can contain images, videos and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. A real time ticker can play on top of the display area. You could play music in the back ground too. This play list then can be played on any of the display area computers.
These display point machines could be connected over a network or be even remotely associated through the Internet. The computer will copy the files locally and start playing files of the play list during the scheduled period. Typically this kind of a system will have a server and then a scheduler will monitor and maintain your system and multiple the multiple players connected to the system. Play list to a specific player is added by clicking on it. Timing constraints could be specified. All the players play their assigned material by copying locally and playing as per calendar time allocations. This is a very good product. If you are looking for a similar solution, you should try it in your exact workflow.
